Picking out just the right cabin with a 5-star rating, incredible views and incredible amenities can feel like a daunting task in the Smokies. With so many to choose from, the options, at times, can be a bit overwhelming. Fortunately, we are here to help.

The following list is hand-curated by our team to feature the best of the best when it comes to 2-bedroom cabin rentals in the Smoky Mountains.

We’ve ranked the following 8 cabins based on four factors: Views, amenities, distance to attractions and overall value for money.

To make things even easier, we’ve included the main “selling point” in the title of each cabin for quick skimming.

And best of all, each of these cabins are available for rent on VRBO.

Editor’s Note: Picks 3-7 are more budget-friendly while our top two picks are more for those who prefer to vacation in the lap of luxury.

8. Mountainscape: Million dollar views plus discounts, a free night and attraction coupons

The name of this one says it all. The unobstructed views of the Smoky Mountains at Mountainscape are breathtaking to say the least, and viewable from nearly every room in the house.

Who said you need to be outside to enjoy the mountains? This cabin offers views from the comfort of your couch.

But that’s not the only reason Mountainscape makes the ‘Top 8’ list – it’s the trifecta of views, amenities and discounts.

Amenities include a hot tub, a pool table, foosball and access to the community pool in the warmer months (in Legacy Mountain Resort).

On top of all of that, Mountainscape also offers year-round specials including a “rent four nights get one free” promotion, a 10% off military discount, a 10% off AAA discount, and $20 off coupons to Legacy Mountain Zip-lines. Availability may vary and terms may apply.

7. Sky Top Lodge: Mountain views, new construction, hot tub and attraction coupons

Like many of the others on this list, Sky Top Lodge manages to make the most of its beautiful Smoky Mountain views while maintaining an impressive list of amenities.

Sky Top Lodge is centrally located just 10 minutes to Pigeon Forge, 20 minutes to Gatlinburg and 15 minutes to Dollywood.

Sky Top Lodge is located in the Black Bear Ridge Resort.

Built in 2019, it’s also one of the newer cabins on our list featuring new construction and a nice modern rustic aesthetic.

Amenities include a hot tub, fast WiFi, stainless steel appliances and access to a community pool. And just in case you’re wondering – yes, fast WiFi is a highly sought after amenity in the Smokies. Let’s just say it’s something you never appreciate ’til it’s gone.

6. Mountain Splendor: Incredible unobstructed views

Mountain Splendor offers arguably some of the best views of any cabin on our list. It was one of the first cabins developed at the top peak of the mountain and is one of the most sought after cabin rentals in the area year after year.

Amenities include a game room, hot tub and access to a community pool.

The only drawback to this cabin is the fact that the second bedroom is a loft instead of a closed off master suite.

So perhaps not quite as ideal as the next cabin on our list for a pair of couples, but would still be fun for a family of four with a couple of kids that don’t necessarily need the privacy.

4. Bear Paw Bridge: Private bridge and two master suites

This cabin’s unique bridge entrance, privacy and treehouse feel helped secure its spot on our Top 8 list.

The hot tub features a unique enclosure that helps protect guests from the elements (and creepy crawlies) while still making the most of the wooded views.
