Country fans already know this place gets its name from superstar Blake Shelton’s breakout hit, “Ol’ Red”, and Blake knows a thing or two about spotting country’s next rising stars. Here, at the only live music spot in Gatlinburg with talent hand-picked by our Nashville team and showcasing the best coming out of Music City, you never know who will take the stage every Friday and Saturday night! For January, the list includes Zach Ray, Sunburned Willy, Blake Esse, Backwater Still, Michael Roberts, Shaun Abbott, Jason Ellis, Jordan Foster, and Matt Stillwell. Puckett’s, a newcomer on the Pigeon Forge scene, is a restaurant and music venue that embodies true Tennessee culture through it’s signature comfort foods and featuring of talented area artists and musicians. Fun fact – I am personally a huge fan of Puckett’s after being introduced to the restaurant when I lived in Franklin, TN. My co-workers and I frequented the restaurant on a near daily basis for years. Puckett’s Pigeon Forge features live music most Friday and Saturday nights starting at 7:30pm. This month’s talent includes Big Creek Bluegrass, Brad Hudson Band, Kirk Fleta, 7-Mile Junction, Emerald Butler and The Reunited.
Shadrack’s Christmas Lights Show
Where: Smokies Stadium
Address: 3540 Line Dr, Kodak, TN 37764
Date: Now Thru January 5th, 2020
When: 6-10pm ET Nightly (Tickets start at $25/car)
This is a drive-through light show, taking place from dusk until 10 pm nightly at the Smokies Stadium. Additional attractions are available, including photos with Santa, a petting zoo, pony rides, inflatables and food vendors.
Gatlinburg Trolley Tour of Lights
Where: Downtown Gatlinburg
Date: Now Thru January 25th, 2020
When: Saturdays at 6:30pm, 7:30pm and 8:30pm (Tickets: $10/person – children under 3 are free)
Tour the sights and sounds of Winterfest from the comfort of a warm trolley while enjoying storytelling and sipping on hot cocoa.
Sensory Night at WonderWorks
Date: Sunday, January 5, 2020
When: 2-6pm ET ($10 Admission)
Sensory Night provides children with special needs the ability to explore WonderWorks exhibits altered to provide limited stimulation. Music at the event will be lowered and loud exhibits will not be operational.
Aussie Heat – Adults Only
Where: The Grand Majestic Theater
Date: Saturday, January 11, 2019
When: 8-10pm ET (Tickets $16-$40)
One Night Only – the Grand Majestic Theater will be featuring Las Vegas’s Aussie Heat. This show is described as a “high energy all male dance revue show” featuring ripped Aussie hunks” for “ladies AND gentlemen” to enjoy. Dinner will not be served during the show but drinks and appetizers will be available. Must be 21 or older with ID for alcohol purchases. Must be 18 or older to enter or purchase tickets.
Lyrics & Lore at DreamMore Presented by Bandtwango
Where: Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort
Date: January, 17-18, 2020
When: 9am-11pm, Jan. 17 and 7am-10pm, Jan. 18 (Co-Write $135, Concerts Free)
Lyrics & Lore was designed so that any individual can experience songwriting and storytelling. You don’t have to be a songwriter or a storyteller to attend. Join the Dollywood Entertainment team and The International Storytelling Center (ISC) and our partner, Bandtwango as they bring together the beauty and inspiration of songs and stories to Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa. This year’s event features hit songwriters Deana Carter, Beth Nielsen Chapman and more. Lyrics & Lore Co-Write is open to the general public and resort guests for a fee of $135. All-Ages Micro Winter Blowout at Microtorium

This is a good one for wrestling fans – hosted by the Micro Wrestling Federation, enjoy a kid-friendly night at the Micro Winter Rumble!
