Ruby Sunshine Gatlinburg Grand Opening

Hillbilly Golf Reopens

Folks it is time to “Get your HILLBILLY ON” again for 2020 with a game of golf at Hillbilly Golf. The staff has been working all winter making the courses better, so come on down and play and enjoy some fun. This is the 49th season and they can’t wait until next year so the real celebration begins! Normal hours of operation may change in inclement weather.
Cades Cove Reopens

Fun fact – I am personally a huge fan of Puckett’s after being introduced to the restaurant when I lived in Franklin, TN. My co-workers and I frequented the restaurant on a near daily basis for years. Here, at the only live music spot in Gatlinburg with talent hand-picked by our Nashville team and showcasing the best coming out of Music City, you never know who will take the stage. Dollywood’s Festival of Nations displays the most captivating entertainment from around the world during a celebration of music, dance, and art. Look forward to: Beyond Bollywood’s NAMASTE INDIA, first-time ever performers at Dollywood, Namaste India will take you on a tour of the country through dance, music and imagery. In this musical and theatrical show featuring more than 400 costumes, audiences will experience one woman’s quest to fulfill her mother’s wishes by leaving her home and journeying to India. Rhythms of West Africa come to life with Drumstruck, an interactive drum-theatre experience. African beats and culture will fill the room and every audience member gets a drum! Also scheduled this year, Atahualpa will welcome guests on Showstreet, Ole, known as ‘The Gypsy Kings of Comedy” will amuse audiences with musical mastery and hilarious visuals, the perennial favorite, the Invaders Steel Orchestra from Trinidad and Tobago, return to the festival this season, bringing the spirit of the Caribbean to the Smokies, JigJam, hailed as the “best Irish group so far in Bluegrass”, by Irish American News, will bring their award winning sound, Four Leaf Peat will appear with Irish traditional music mixed with the musical history of East Tennessee, and John Doyle’s powerhouse rhythmic guitar style and innovative arrangements will be featured as well. Also, take your tastebuds on a trip around the globe with the return of the Passport to Food! International food favorites pair well with the diverse entertainment offerings for a trip around the world in the heart of the Smokies.

Smoky Mountain Encore provides quality workshops, seminars, exhibitions, shows and competitions. We pride ourselves in providing new material from the most talented instructors in the US. Also, come see a professionally-staged production show put on for cloggers, by cloggers, featuring some of the country’s top clogging teams, great singers and lots of fun and surprises. The Friday night show is always a highlight of the weekend!
