Smoky Mountain Wine Weekend by Courtyard Marriott Gatlinburg Downtown
Where: Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts
Date: Friday, Saturday, May 1-2
When: Begins 5pm, Friday, May 1
The Gatlinburg Wine Tour is Friday, May 1 and takes you on a guided tour of Gatlinburg’s wineries and wine establishments. Registration/check is from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. with the tour beginning promptly at 6 p.m. Seats are limited for this event, so we encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to purchase tickets. On Saturday, May 2, the Gatlinburg Smoky Mountain Wine Fest is presented by Courtyard by Marriott Gatlinburg Downtown and sanctioned by the Tennessee Farm Wine Growers Alliance, Inc. The festival will feature 18 + wineries from across Tennessee providing samples of their labels along with small dish fare from the best restaurants in the Smoky Mountains.
Townsend Spring Festival
Where: Townsend, Tennessee
Date: Friday, Saturday, May 1-2, 2020
When: 10 am-8pm, ET (Parking is $10 per day, or $15 for 2 day pass)
Bring your lawn chair and enjoy genuine bluegrass music, arts and crafts, food, and Spring festivities for the entire family at the Townsend Visitor’s Center. Parking passes may be purchased at the Townsend Visitor Center (7906 E. Lamar Alexander Pkwy., Townsend), the Maryville Welcome Center (201 S. Washington St., Maryville) or at the parking gate on event days. A free shuttle is provided for touring Townsend. Visit the Website for updates. Cell service may not be available in the area.
Sevierville’s Bloomin’ BBQ & Bluegrass Festival

When: Starting Friday, May 15, at 5pm (free admission and concerts)

Alcatraz East Graffiti Art Contest

Alcatraz East is now accepting applications for the 3rd annual Graffiti Art Contest! This year’s contest will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020. Artists will be given six hours to complete their graffiti piece, competing for cash prizes and a chance to have their work displayed in the museum!
