Sevierville’s History and Haunts Event
Where: Sevierville, Tennessee
Date: Every Saturday in October, 2020
When: 5-9pm, Saturdays
Stroll the streets of historic downtown Sevierville each Saturday evening in October (5pm-9pm) to enjoy family-friendly frights and fall fun.
Each Saturday brings a new harvest of activities everyone will enjoy, from guided historic walking tours and costume contests to storytellers, live music and lawn games.
Downtown hotspot Graze Burgers will show the football games every weekend on their big screen TVs.
Admission to History & Haunts is free. There may be a nominal charge for some activities.
Smoky Mountain Trout Tournament by Rocky Top Outfitters
Where: Pigeon Forge, TN
Date: Saturday-Sunday, October 3-4, 2020
When: Saturday, 30 minutes before sunrise-4pm and Sunday, 30 minutes before sunrise-2pm
Don’t miss out on the fun and excitement of the 21st Annual Smoky Mountain Trout Tournament! Fun for all – adults, children, tourists and locals. Over 10,000 trout will be stocked in over 20 miles of streams prior to this 2-day event! Over $10,000 in cash & prizes! Don’t miss out on your chance to be a part of the largest trout tournament in the Smokies! Rules, registration, and guidelines are available on the website. This tournament was rescheduled from June.
Gatlinburg Fall Craftsmen’s Fair
Where: Gatlinburg Convention Center
Date: Thursday-Sunday, October 8-25, 2020
When: 10 am-5 pm daily, 10am-5pm Sundays (Admission is $8 for adults, 12 and under, free)
Two hundred booths with unique, handmade products will be on display. Each participant is subject to a rigorous jury process to ensure the uniqueness and quality of their respective products. All items represented are handmade and of utmost quality-and without duplication. Look for exceptional pottery pieces, molded leather, copper art, local candy makers, and many more unique items.
There is something for everyone at the Fair. The Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair and Smoky Mountain Resort Ministries provide a free Kid’s Corner during the July fair, with a selection of DIY crafts for our youngest visitors to take home with them. Be sure to stop by one or all of our daily music shows included with the price of admission. Check out the stage and enjoy contemporary country, bluegrass, and your favorite gospel tunes at 12 pm and 3 pm daily.
Concessions are available for sale through the Gatlinburg Convention Center.
Wears Valley Fall Fest
Where: Wears Valley
Date: Friday-Sunday, October 16-18, 2020
Enjoy this traditional Fall Fest in Wears Valley with over 150 craftsmen/vendors, incredible food of all kinds, free continuous entertainment, a large kids area full of activities and games, and tractors all the while highlighting the mission to Keep Sevier Beautiful with a stunning Smoky Mountain backdrop! Admission is $3 per person (ages 2 & under are free), parking is always FREE, and this is a very kid friendly and pet friendly event.
Great Smoky Mountain Auto Fest
Where: Tennessee Smokies Stadium
Date: Saturday-Sunday, October 17-18, 2020
When: 8am-4pm Saturday, 8am-3pm Sunday (Admission is $8 per person for spectators)
The Tennessee Smokies and The Diner Rats Car Club, Inc. are hosting the 2020 Great Smoky Mountain Auto Fest! The event is to be held at Smokies Stadium. The fest will be held rain or shine. Also slated are a free showing of American Graffiti, vendors and a swap meet. The website offers more information on car registration and fees, and a list of all the events offered.
Hallowine Chocolate and Wine Pairing
Where: Mountain Valley, Hillside, and Mill Bridge Wineries
Date: Saturday, October 31, 2020
Wear your favorite costume and go trick-or-treating like an adult by enjoying a glass of wine (your choice of two offerings) paired with handcrafted desserts at each of the following (3) locations: Mountain Valley Winery, Hillside Winery, and Mill Bridge Winery. Take home a commemorate Taster Glass and receive your free souvenir wine glass after visiting the three participating locations on the Rocky Top Wine Trail. Info on the food offerings and wine pairings to follow soon. No refunds, cancellations, or exchanges, event will be held rain or shine.
