These beautiful rentals near Pigeon Forge offer the best bang for your buck without skimping on quality. I wouldn’t call them cheap. Call them “budget-friendly cabins”, if you will.
Some of these affordable Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge cabins even feature private club-level neighborhood benefits like community pools and tennis courts. Plus, most are conveniently located near popular local attractions and area walking trails.
Remember, for the most savings and best deals, try booking during the “off-season” (January-February).

First, we have Mountains, Memories and S’more, a romantic getaway with mountain views.
This cabin offers a charming and private Smoky Mountain escape.

Next, we have the Shiner’s Shack. After all, no affordable cabin list would be complete without a tiny cabin!
Shiner’s Shack offers a rustic experience in a secluded location off the beaten path in Newport. While it’s a great value, it is located approximately 35 minutes from Gatlinburg and 45 minutes from Pigeon Forge.
This tiny cabin features less than 200 sq ft of space and offers a private, cozy and rustic experience with comfort at an affordable rental rate overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains.
It features all the basic amenities you’d want for a weekend getaway, plus a hot tub, fire pit and charcoal grill.
Shiner’s Shack is fully equipped with a mini-fridge/freezer, stove, oven, small table with seating for two and a full-size bed. Shiner’s Shack sleeps up to two adults comfortably but does have a sofa.

Get ready for a memorable stay in this brand-new cabin conveniently located near downtown Gatlinburg.
The cabin features wood-paneled walls, an incredible amount of natural light, a stone fireplace and a full kitchen.
Also, as a White Oak Resort guest, you gain complimentary access to community amenities including a tennis court, gym, playground, walking path and swimming pools.
The Lexi sleeps up to six people with one king bed, two twin beds and one queen bed.
At the time of this writing, Gatlinburg Makin’ Memories runs at an average of $134 per night with a 4.3-star rating.
5. Cabin 1/2 mile to Parkway
Sleeps 8 in Pigeon Forge, avg. $169 per night
This cabin is in a great location that is only a four-minute drive to the Old Mill or a 13-minute drive to Dollywood in Pigeon Forge.
It’s a rustic cabin that features a master suite with a king bed along with a queen sleeper sofa and a portable crib for a small child.
The lower level has a master suite with a king bed and another bathroom. The cabin also features two twin beds.
At the time of this writing, this cabin averages only $169 per night and has a 4.7-star rating on VRBO.
6. Reviews Matter
Sleeps 6 in Gatlinburg, avg. $230 per night
Now we have Reviews Matter.
We aren’t sure if “Reviews Matter” is really the official name of this spacious cabin, but it made me chuckle so I’m just going to run with it.
This massive cabin features 1600 sq ft of space with two bedrooms – with one king bed and one queen bed – with two full baths.
It is located right off of The Spur in Chalet Village between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, behind the Gatlinburg Welcome Center where guests can catch the trolley and ride around town.
It features three decks and gorgeous mountain views with a fully stocked kitchen, cathedral wood ceilings, a fireplace, stainless steel appliances and smart TVs.
Guests will also enjoy access to Chalet Village amenities including two swimming pools, a fitness room, a tennis court, a basketball hoop and a playground for kids.
This cabin sleeps six and is big enough to accommodate a large family on a tight vacation budget.

7. Downtown Cabin with Hot Tub

I was so intrigued by this one that I had to see it for myself. My husband and I spent a weekend in this cute little cabin a couple of years ago.
So we can personally vouch for the location. It is located in the heart of Gatlinburg, and you can easily walk to most major downtown Gatlinburg area attractions.
It features a huge private two-story wrap-around balcony with a private hot tub and city views, right along the main strip.
Plus, on special occasions, you can even sit on the balcony and watch Space Needle firework displays.
At the time of this writing, this Downtown Cabin runs at an average of $249 per night. This is quite the bargain – especially considering all of the money you’re going to save avoiding over-priced Gatlinburg parking lots.
