Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Christmas Show

Build up the holidays with a woodsy holiday event and sing original tunes of the season inspired by forest folklore.

A Morbidly Merry Christmas

Looking for some unique holiday fun this year?

Winterfest just took a scarier turn with Gatlinburg’s Mysterious Mansion’s Holiday Haunted House! Visit the nation’s oldest continuously operating haunted attraction with the hallways decked with holiday lights, Christmas trees, garlands and more.

And, snow is guaranteed every night during the event. Come see the only Krampus in the Smoky Mountains, who will be waiting outside and ready for pictures, Thursday to Monday, 6:30-10 pm.

Annual New Year’s Eve Party

Kennedy Concepts presents their annual New Year’s Eve party with a masquerade theme!

Prohibition Anniversary at Alcatraz

Dec. 5 marks an anniversary that millions of adults in the United States appreciate. It is the anniversary of the end of Prohibition. This year, Alcatraz East Crime Museum will host its inaugural event that will include prizes and a discounted admission for those wearing Roaring 20s attire. The event will take place on the anniversary date from 5 pm to close.

The Prohibition was when alcohol production and consumption were banned, creating the 18th Amendment to the Constitution. All states agreed to this amendment on Jan. 16 1919, and went into effect one year later, on Jan. 17, 1920.

During the museum’s celebration, there will be fun activities that taking place, including:

1. Those who arrive in roaring 20s attire will receive $5 off their admission price and get two entries to win a prize pack

2. Prohibition trivia, which will put your knowledge on the topic to the test

3. Free shooting gallery

4. Free digital photo (must be wearing noticeable Roaring 20’s attire)

5. Prizes from Junction 35 Spirits and Ole Smoky Distillery (must be 21 or older)

Free Music at Ole Red Gatlinburg

Ole Red is now offering live music as 2020 restrictions ease. Country fans already know this place gets its name from superstar Blake Shelton’s breakout hit, “Ol’ Red”, and Blake knows a thing or two about spotting country’s next rising stars.

This month’s line up (so far) includes Sara Collins, Stephen Goff, Larry Frick, JCT 441 and Matt Stillwell. Check the website for updates or possible cancellations.

Christmas in the Village

Come celebrate the Holiday Season with your family at the Heritage Center’s “Christmas in the Village” on select Saturdays this season. Enjoy the warmth of the holidays while going back in time to a pioneer celebration.

Living history interpreters will guide you through the historic Appalachian village full of handcrafting demonstrations, lights and decorations.

Ripley’s Aquarium Sensory Night

Ripley’s hosts several sensory-friendly events and nights throughout the year which offer lowered lighting and music throughout the facility. Quiet spaces are also offered for those who may need a break during their visit.

Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies is a Certified Autism Center. This designation was given by IBCCES (International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards) and is awarded to organizations who have completed a training and review process to better serve individuals with sensory needs.

Ripley’s Aquarium also works with Autism Site Knoxville and Advocates for Autism to provide a safe and fun environment for all guests. Visit the website for details.

Ice Skating at Wilderness at the Smokies

Get into the holiday spirit with Wilderness at the Smokies on the 3,200-square foot ice skating rink, converted from the outdoor wave pool for the holiday and winter season.

Hotel guests and the public are welcome to enjoy the rink together in a safe and socially distanced manner. Skates will be disinfected between each use with a hospital grade product.

Sleeping With The Sharks – Family Edition
