3. Gatlinburg Town Square
Gatlinburg Town Square is a resort-style timeshare that features an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a basketball court, hot tubs and a game room. As well as family-friendly daily activities. The resort offers studio, one and two-bedroom condos. These units sleep two to six guests and depending on their size offer a variety of amenities. In the larger units, guests will often find various bedding options, kitchens, living areas, dining areas, and private balconies. Accommodations range from studio to two-bedroom villas sleeping four to eight guests. Also, conveniences like kitchenettes or full kitchens, living areas or sitting areas, and dining areas are usually included. Additionally, select larger units feature private patios or balconies and jetted tubs. Westgate is located right off the Spur, about .3 miles from the Gatlinburg Welcome Center, and is within walking distance to the new Southern Comfort restaurant.
Do I have to be an owner to stay in a timeshare in Gatlinburg?
No, you don’t have to be an owner to enjoy the benefits of a timeshare resort. You can, instead, rent it from the owner. For instance, when owners cannot travel to their timeshares, they will often advertise their timeshares for rent on the secondary market. They will usually price the rental for the same or similar cost of their annual maintenance fees. This allows guests to pay a more reasonable price with a rental which allows the owners to cover the cost of their maintenance fees instead of paying elevated seasonal prices set by the resort (which can sometimes add almost 70% to the cost of a rental). This can be a great way to vacation like a timeshare owner, while often enjoying the many amenities these resorts offer, without the obligation.
