Our staff was so intrigued by this one that we had to see it for ourselves.

We actually spent a weekend in this cute little cabin a couple of years ago and have to say – if you’re looking for a cabin that is truly within walking distance of most major downtown attractions, this cabin is it.

It is quite literally located in the heart of Gatlinburg.

It features a huge private two-story wrap-around balcony with a private hot tub and city views.

Plus, on special occasions, you can even sit on the balcony and watch Space Needle firework displays.

Gervinwold is the perfect hybrid of modern and mountain cozy.

Technically more of a colonial cottage than a log cabin, this charming home features an open floor plan on the main level with an elegant contemporary design, cathedral ceilings and a beautiful cobalt blue exterior.

According to its listing, it’s located on a ridge 2,050 feet above sea level.

It’s the ultimate cabin if you want some privacy in a romantic setting, while still getting all the amenities you could hope for, including a washer and dryer.

And even though it’s off a little more off the beaten path, all the roads leading to the cabin are paved.

It also features a heart-shaped jetted tub.

The only downside? It’s located in Sevierville, which is not in Gatlinburg but is still close to attractions like the Titanic Museum.
