Country fans already know this place gets its name from superstar Blake Shelton’s breakout hit, “Ol’ Red”, and Blake knows a thing or two about spotting country’s next rising stars. This month, Ole Red features the best in live music with smaller acts to keep you and the artists safe. Artists slated for June include Rebecca Lee Daniels, Jordan Foster, Danny Henderson, Emily Miller, Matt Stillwell, Gabe Walsh, Cole Sitzler, Sara Collins, Shaun Abbott, Temper Evans, Elijah Wise, Johno Clayton, Kevin Jaggers, Brad Hudson, Chris Rains, Nouveaux Honkies, Ryan Perry, Stephen Goff, Emily Daniels, Chloe Litton, Zach Ray, Aaron Walker Band, Haley Mae Campbell, Bill Dotson and Larry Frick.

Flower and Food Festival

This festival features larger-than-life live plant sculptures, fresh seasonal food with cooking demonstrations and special dining events, and a tapestry of color as visitors walk under an umbrella sky. Dates for this event have not been announced, coming this summer.

Spend summer days and nights at Dollywood during the summer celebration. The Gazillion Bubble Show returns and fireworks light the sky each night after dark.

Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales

Where: Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Address: Downtown Gatlinburg

Date: June 19, 2020 – August 1, 2020

When: Daily, 6pm-11pm

Smoky Mountain Tunes & Tales returns this summer to entertain Gatlinburg visitors! Tunes & Tales is a summer-long street performance festival featuring costumed musical performers, storytellers and cloggers portraying characters from time periods as far back as the 1800s. Daily performances will be from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

This popular six-week event has made the walkable streets of Gatlinburg its live stage, enriching the summer season with interactive, educational and entertaining performances the whole family can enjoy. Note: Artisans only, are currently on hold, check the event page before attending for updates.

Smoky Mountain Trout Tournament by Rocky Top Outfitters

Don’t miss out on the fun and excitement of the 21st Annual Smoky Mountain Trout Tournament! Fun for all – adults, children, tourists and locals. Over 10,000 trout will be stocked in over 20 miles of streams prior to this 2-day event! Over $10,000 in cash & prizes! Don’t miss out on your chance to be a part of the largest trout tournament in the Smokies! Rules, registration, and guidelines are available on the website. Note: This tournament has been cancelled, and tentatively, one will be held in October.

Music in the Mountains Parade

Where: Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

When: 6 pm

For over 30 years, more than 50,000 tourists, fans, and residents gather in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee as the summer season kicks off with the annual Spring Parade! This year’s Grand Marshal is Cal Ripken Jr. The parade will celebrate the music history and culture that lives here in the Great Smoky Mountains. Th parade kicks off at 6 pm on June 19th. Get ready to celebrate with many musical groups and talented performers that will fill the streets. The theaters in town will be open ready to entertain with singing, dancing, acting, and so much more! NEW this year, they will be adding four life- sized cold- air balloons with children’s characters and a baseball themed balloon! This event was rescheduled from May. Note: This event has been cancelled.

A spectacular 3 day event for any car enthusiast! There will be a cash giveaway, top 25 awards, ultimate 5 awards and King of the Hill. Also scheduled is a swap meet with hundreds of showcars, a car corral, vendors and entertainment. Note: The Rod Run event scheduled for June, has now been cancelled.
