Did you know the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! empire began with a simple sports cartoon in 1918?

Robert Ripley traveled the world, collected “oddities” and published cartoons and books.

The very first Odditorium opened in Chicago in 1933, and its success led to more locations around the country.

Through the years, Ripley’s has expanded into a number of attractions, and the Great Smoky Mountains is proud to boast nine of them. That’s more Ripley’s attractions than anywhere else in the world!

Visiting a Ripley’s attraction is a great way for your family to spend a Smoky Mountain vacation – and combo passes make it easy to see multiples of them. Let’s break down which Ripley’s attractions are in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg:

Or that someone created a Last Supper piece of art made of lint?

They also have a couple of Harry Potter-inspired pieces for my fellow wizards and witches out there.
