Sevier County Fair now underway; A complete list of featured events

The Sevier County Fair is officially underway in Sevierville, Tenn. and celebrating their 85th anniversary.

The fair will run from Tuesday, Sept 1 – Monday, Sept 7. The fair will be open from 5 pm-10 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, 4 pm-11 pm on Thursday, and 3 pm-11 pm Friday-Monday.

This year’s fair will feature a Native American Teepee, Poultry Show, Mainstreet Market, Kid’s Tent and an Animal Kingdom attraction. 

Rudy Uresti, a variety entertainer, will also be performing on select nights. 

The fair is sponsored by Farm Bureau of Sevier County. Guests who are able to present their Farm Bureau Membership cards at the ticket booth will receive one free ticket good for one night only on Tuesday, Sept 1. Farm Bureau members will receive a BOGO (buy one get one free) admission on all other nights with proof of membership.

Tuesday, Sept 1

  • 5:45 pm – Cow Buddies competition in the Cattle Tent
  • 6:00 pm – Beef Showmanship, Beef Show Jr and Commercial following Showmanship in the Cattle Tent
  • 6:00 pm – Fairest of the Fair Pageant, presenting Preteen, Teen, Miss, Ms/Mrs, on the Fairest of the Fair Stage

Sevier County Fair Safety Restrictions and COVID-19 plan

The Sevier County Fair is committed to providing a safe, clean and positive environment to help families enjoy activities in the healthiest way possible. In that light, the fair has implemented a number of policies to protect their guests. Details of these policies are available on the website’s COVID-19 plan

Highlights of the plan include encouraged social distancing in outdoor areas and limited capacity seating. Face masks are mandatory indoors per the county-wide mask mandate which is currently in effect through Sept. 30.
