Ripley’s Aquarium Sensory Night
Ripley’s hosts several sensory-friendly events and nights throughout the year which offer lowered lighting and music throughout the facility. Quiet spaces are also offered for those who may need a break during their visit.
Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies is a Certified Autism Center. This designation was given by IBCCES (International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards) and is awarded to organizations who have completed a training and review process to better serve individuals with sensory needs. Ripley’s Aquarium also works with Autism Site Knoxville and Advocates for Autism to provide a safe and fun environment for all guests. Visit the website for details.

Join Ober Gatlinburg for the 4th annual Ober Rocks throwback event on Jan. 23, 2021.
Ober Gatlinburg will host a special Ober Rocks Ski Session from 8 pm-midnight. Josiah & The Greater Good will play inside on the big stage and a slope side DJ will blast music on the slopes until midnight.
In case of inclement weather, the event will move indoors. Follow the website for updates on partner hotel specials, band and DJ announcements.

Light the Way Fundraiser
The 2020 Light The Way 5K originally scheduled for November and rescheduled for January 3 now has been cancelled, but event organizers plan for it to return in winter 2021.
However, a plan has been announced to offer a different experience that allows people to visit Dollywood January 3 to see the holiday lights and support the two great non-profit organizations that benefit from Light the Way: Keep Sevier Beautiful and Share It Forward. A $50 ticket will be available online only that will allow admittance to Dollywood from 5-9 pm January 3 with all net proceeds donated to the two non-profit organizations. On the last operating day of Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas, visitors not only can enjoy the theme park’s five million holiday lights but all rides, attractions and entertainment! Free Music at Ole Red Gatlinburg
Country fans already know this place gets its name from superstar Blake Shelton’s breakout hit, “Ol’ Red”, and Blake knows a thing or two about spotting country’s next rising stars.
Here, at the only live music spot in Gatlinburg with talent hand-picked by a Nashville team and showcasing the best coming out of Music City, you never know who will take the stage every Friday and Saturday night! January artists have not yet been announced. Check the website for the updates.

Free Music at Puckett’s
Puckett’s is a restaurant and music venue that embodies true Tennessee culture through its signature comfort foods and featuring of talented area artists and musicians. Puckett’s Pigeon Forge features live music most Friday and Saturday nights starting at 7:30 pm. January artists have not yet been announced, follow the website for updates.

Shadrack’s Christmas Lights Show
Shadrack’s is a drive-through light show, taking place from dusk until 10 pm nightly at the Smokies Stadium. Additional attractions are available, including photos with Santa, a petting zoo, pony rides, inflatables and food vendors.
