Breakfast on the Mountain at Anakeesta

Splash Bash Live at Dollywood’s Splash Country

Splash Bash LIVE returns to Dollywood’s Splash Country Saturdays in July and August! Grab a float at the Mountain Waves wave pool and enjoy four sets of tunes from noon to 5 pm. Scheduled bands include Flashback, Natti Love Joys, Uptown Moonlighting Band, Regal Beagle, K-Town, Diva and the Black Tie Affair, The Mike Snodgrass Band and Monroeville. Friends of the Smokies Annual Cades Cove Loop Lope Registration

The Cades Cove Loop Lope is the only organized footrace held inside Great Smoky Mountains National Park to benefit Friends of the Smokies. All funds raised benefit park projects and programs such as historic preservation, wildlife conservation, native plant and grassland restoration and much more. Registration is happening now. There are two course options, a 5K or a USATF Certified 10-Mile Loop. If you miss registration or the event is sold out, sign up for the Virtual Race. A virtual race can be run (or walked!) anytime, anywhere, even indoors or on a treadmill. Free Music at Ole Red Gatlinburg

Country fans already know this place gets its name from superstar Blake Shelton’s breakout hit, “Ol’ Red”, and Blake knows a thing or two about spotting country’s next rising stars. Annual Veterans Homecoming Parade

Join Pigeon Forge as they salute America’s military veterans during the Veterans Homecoming Parade. The parade will start at Methodist Street between Food City and the Methodist Church, and will travel northbound on the Parkway to Traffic Light #5. Visit the Chamber website for more information.

The Great Smoky Mountain Balloon Festival

Spend some time viewing this summertime spectacle, when several professional balloonist light up the evening sky with a beautiful balloon glow. The sky will be filled with a spectrum of color like never before against a backdrop of a breathtaking Tennessee sunset. Ripley’s Aquarium Sensory Night

Ripley’s hosts several sensory-friendly events and nights throughout the year which offer lowered lighting and music throughout the facility. Quiet spaces are also offered for those who may need a break during their visit. Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies is a Certified Autism Center. Visit the website for details.

Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Club Invasion

This is a major annual event hosted by the Smoky Mountain Jeep® Club. This event is currently held at the LeConte Center and is open to ALL enthusiasts and clubs throughout the nation. It is an Expo for all the leading Jeep® parts and accessory vendors. The event also hosts a Jeep® Show where several trophies are awarded.
