Kim is a Smoky Mountain native considers the mountains her home. She formally worked as an Executive Assistant at Walters State Community College (Morristown, TN) in the Public Information department where she interfaced with a number of local publications and proofed the college’s public-facing materials. She has also served as a Library Assistant at Northeast State Community College.

She is currently employed as the Copy Editor for TheSmokies.com LLC. There isn’t a single article on this website that Kim hasn’t personally reviewed.

Kim is married to Stephen, whose title is Chief Forester and therefore, she spends a lot of time hiking in the woods. She also enjoys gardening and spending time at home with the Grayson cat menagerie.
