Morgan Overholt
CO-FOUNDER | THESMOKIES.COM
Morgan is a Smoky Mountain native and the founder Morgan Media LLC, a graphic design agency and the co-founder of TheSmokies.com LLC – a media company that specializes in regional travel sites including HeyOrlando.com and MiamiTake.com. Morgan and her business partners Alaina (her sister) and James (her husband) were bitten by the “blogging bug” in 2020 when they launched their original concept – TheSmokies.com, an homage to their hometown in Tennessee. Today, TheSmokies.com generates 3-5 million pageviews per year.
Her very first date with her now-husband James was at Dollywood. He originally invited her to a movie – but she demanded a date she would remember. James upped the ante with Dollywood and the rest is history. Morgan has appeared in nationally recognized publications including Business Insider, Parade Magazine and Refinery29. She is also a Tennessee Press Association Award winner.
