Finding the right cabin rental for your Smokies vacation can feel like a daunting task with so many options out there. Especially when you’re in need of a cabin with plenty of top-notch amenities, like amazing private hot tubs and a jacuzzi, for instance.

Whether you are enjoying a vacation by skiing the slopes, walking the trails, paddling the river or walking through the national forests, ending the day in a steaming hot tub is hard to beat.

But never fear, we’ve made the search just a bit easier by scouring the area and putting together this list of what we believe, are the best cabins in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, with your own private hot tub, in the Smokies.

The following vacation rentals were chosen based on a combination of factors including: overall aesthetics, unique features, location, comfort and affordability.

6. Mason Jar Lodge: Professionally decorated and newly renovated

We selected this cabin primarily for its unique style and location.

Inspired by the stylings of Chip and Joanna Gaines from HGTV, this professionally styled cabin has it all.

This newly refurbished cabin features a double-decker porch with multiple cozy nooks, wood-burning fireplaces, three fishing ponds and of course, an outdoor hot tub with mountain views.

It features 2000 sq. ft, 2 king beds, 3 full baths and can accommodate up to six overnight guests. The cabin is nonsmoking and does not allow pets.

This cozy cabin is located within a mile of two popular nearby wedding chapels: Chapel at Honeymoon Hills and Chapel in the Glen. It is a wonderful place for a honeymoon. And it’s less than three miles away from popular downtown Gatlinburg attractions including Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies and Anakeesta.

4. So Happy Together: Featuring a swim spa and two hot tubs

This cabin was chosen for its multitude of hot tubs and free attraction tickets.

This beautiful cabin features two different hot tubs, one of which is attached to a larger swim spa.

For the uninitiated, a swim spa is pool alternative. It features a built-in current system that allows you to swim continuously like a water treadmill. Alternatively, they can be used for relaxation like an oversized hot tub. They are also heated and can be used year-round.

This 3400 sq. ft cabin features five bedrooms, six bathrooms and sleeps up to 16 guests.

Amenities include a full kitchen, a game room, theater room, a multi-cade and an impressive outdoor area with a fire pit and the aforementioned hot tubs.

And, because this cabin is offered through Bear Tracts, guests will also receive and a handful of free admission tickets to select area attractions.

At the time of this writing this cabin averages $624 per night.

This cabin is non-smoking and does not allow pets.

3. Mountain cabin with 12-person hot tub

We selected this cabin for its massive 12-person hot tub, walkable location and amazing views of the mountains. The panoramic scenery, wildlife and fresh air are hard to beat.

This cabin has seven full bathrooms, five bedrooms and sleeps up to 18 guests.

Aside from the massive hot tub that will be sure to keep your entire party entertained, other amenities include a putting green, a fire pit, a game room, huge dining room tables, a charcoal grill and a pool table.

This cabin is also hosted by Bear Tracts and also offers free admission tickets to select local attractions.

And here’s the best part – it’s within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg. Rafting in the Smokies is only .3 miles away, The Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum is only .7 miles away, and Anakeesta, Ripley’s Aquarium and the Mountain Mall are all a little over one mile away.

Neither pets nor smoking are allowed at this cabin.

We chose this cabin for its five king en-suites (a rare find), walkability and its built in deck swim spa.

This cabin features six bedrooms and six full baths.

In addition to the beautiful swim spa, other popular amenities include a game room, multiple outdoor seating areas and a BBQ.

The cabin itself is beautifully decorated with a rustic modern vibe. And, it’s within walking distance to most major attractions in downtown Gatlinburg.

It’s only .3 miles from the main Parkway strip which features the Gatlinburg Convention Center, Smoky Mountain Brewery, Ober Gatlinburg, Ripley’s Haunted Adventure and more.

This cabin is non-smoking and is not pet-friendly.

1. Eagle River Lodge: Featuring a massive indoor pool and hot tub

And finally we have Eagle River Lodge – our top pick!

Eagle River Lodge was chosen as our top pick for having one of the most unique indoor pools and hot tubs that we’ve seen in Gatlinburg.

Located on 5 acres, this lodge features six bedrooms and seven and a half baths with space for 24 guests. And you may even get to view a furry friend!

Amenities include a pool room, a game loft, a stacked stone fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen.

Located on the Pigeon Forge side of the mountains, Eagle River Lodge couldn’t be any closer to the attractions. It’s less than a mile from the Smoky Mountain Alpine coaster and Goats on the Roof. And less than two miles from the Island at Pigeon Forge and the Comedy Barn Theater. It is all you will need for a perfect getaway.
