Finding the right cabin rental for your Smokies vacation can feel like a daunting task with so many options out there, especially when you’re in need of a cabin with plenty of top-notch amenities, like amazing private hot tubs or a jacuzzi tub, for instance.

Whether you are enjoying a vacation by skiing the slopes, walking the trails, paddling the river or walking through the national forests, ending the day in a steaming hot tub is hard to beat.

We’ve made the search just a bit easier by scouring the area and putting together this list of what we believe are the best cabins in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with their own private outdoor hot tubs.

The following vacation rentals were chosen based on a combination of factors including overall aesthetics, unique features, location, comfort and affordability.

1. EZ Escape

This cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway. Plus, it’s only about ten minutes away from major Gatlinburg attractions such as Anakeesta.

It’s a one-bedroom cabin with a king bed and a classic wooden interior. It has an exceptional 4.9-star rating as well. The hot tub is on a private patio area with a privacy fence.

This adorable Smoky Mountain cabin averages about $159 per night on VRBO.

2. Heaven’s Heartbeat

This affordable two-bedroom cabin sleeps up to six guests and is only a four-minute drive to Ober Mountain (formerly Ober Gatlinburg). With two king-size beds, it’s the perfect getaway for a family or a pair of couples looking for a getaway in the mountains.

The hot tub overlooks a stunning view of the mountains which is a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The cabin also has a fire pit, stone fireplace and a fully stocked kitchen.

I’m actually a personal fan of Heaven’s Cabins, as I’ve stayed in at least two of their other rentals with out-of-town friends and family, and I had a great experience with them.

This cabin averages $218 per night and has an amazing 4.9-star rating on VRBO.

3. The Swiss Onyx Chalet

This A-frame chalet is located in the premiere Gatlinburg location of Chalet Village.

It comes equipped with new furnishings, a new kitchen and luxury baths.

Plus, it’s extra cozy with its creek that is located right in front of the chalet.

The outdoor area features a hot tub (of course) as well as a covered porch and electric grill.

This stunning option averages $287 per night on VRBO with an excellent 5-star average rating.

4. The Moose is Loose

This four-bedroom cabin is the perfect option for a medium-sized group. Each suite has its own king bed and private bathroom.

It comes with everything you could hope for, including an outdoor hot tub, air hockey, pool tables and an incredible location just 15 minutes away from downtown Gatlinburg.

Two of the bathrooms also include a jetted tub. There’s also a sofa which opens into a queen bed.

It’s the perfect base of operations for the perfect Smoky Mountain getaway.

This very affordable option averages only $229 per night and has a 4.6-star rating on VRBO.

5. Cozy Bear Lodge

This incredible cabin is close to downtown Gatlinburg but still feels like a mountain getaway. This three-bedroom, three-floor cabin provides everything you need in a Great Smoky Mountains National Park trip.

This lodge has plenty of seating, including rockers and a swing, and is surrounded by beautiful scenery.

Plus, the hot tub can accommodate seven people. Other amenities include a billiard table, flat-screen TV and more.

It averages about $306 per night and has an excellent 4.5-star rating on VRBO.

6. So Happy Together

This cabin was chosen for its multitude of hot tubs and free attraction tickets.

This beautiful cabin features two different hot tubs, one of which is attached to a larger swim spa.

For the uninitiated, a swim spa is a pool alternative. It features a built-in current system that allows you to swim continuously like a water treadmill. Alternatively, they can be used for relaxation like an oversized hot tub. They are also heated and can be used year-round.

This 3,400 sq. ft cabin features five bedrooms, six bathrooms and sleeps up to 16 guests.

Amenities include a full kitchen, a game room, a theater room, a multi-cade and an impressive outdoor area with a fire pit and the aforementioned hot tubs.

And, because this cabin is offered through Bear Tracts, guests will also receive a handful of free admission tickets to select area attractions.

7. Mountain cabin with 12-person hot tub

We selected this cabin for its massive 12-person hot tub, walkable location and amazing, breathtaking views of the mountains. The panoramic scenery, wildlife and fresh air are hard to beat.

This cabin has seven full bathrooms, five bedrooms and sleeps up to 18 guests.

Aside from the massive hot tub that will be sure to keep your entire party entertained, other amenities include a putting green, a fire pit, a game room, huge dining room tables, a charcoal grill and a pool table.

This cabin is also hosted by Bear Tracts and also offers free admission tickets to select local attractions.

Plus, it’s within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg. Rafting in the Smokies is only 0.3 miles away, The Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum is only 0.7 miles away, and Anakeesta, Ripley’s Aquarium and the Mountain Mall are all a little over one mile away.

Neither pets nor smoking are allowed at this cabin.

8. HooBear Lodge

We chose this cabin for its five king en-suites (a rare find), walkability and its built-in back deck swim spa.

This cabin features six bedrooms and six full baths.

In addition to the beautiful swim spa, other popular amenities include a game room, multiple outdoor seating areas and a BBQ.

The cabin itself is beautifully decorated with a rustic modern vibe. And, it’s within walking distance to most major attractions in downtown Gatlinburg.

It’s only 0.3 miles from the main Parkway strip which features the Gatlinburg Convention Center, Smoky Mountain Brewery, Ober Mountain, Ripley’s Haunted Adventure and more.

9. Eagle River Lodge

And finally, we have Eagle River Lodge – our top pick for your large-group Smoky Mountain vacation!

Eagle River Lodge was chosen as our top pick for having one of the most unique indoor pools and hot tubs that we’ve seen in the area. Keep in mind, however, that this cabin is located in Sevierville.

Located on 5 acres, this lodge features six bedrooms and seven and a half baths with space for 24 guests.

Amenities include a pool room, a game loft, a stacked stone fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen.

Eagle River Lodge couldn’t be any closer to the attractions. It’s less than a mile from the Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster and Goats on the Roof. And it’s less than two miles from the Island at Pigeon Forge and the Comedy Barn Theater. It is all you will need for a perfect getaway.
